Sarikamis

Located in Eastern Turkey, some 60 km from Kars with the nearest airport lying 50 km away (Kars Airport), Sarikamis Ski Center offers a skiing season of 120 days a year. The skiing area there is situated at an altitude of 2200-2634 m and covered by deep pine forests that guard skiers against the wind.

The most suitable skiing conditions are between mid-December and mid-March with an average snow fall of 1.5 m in normal winter conditions. Home to the longest piste in Turkey, Sarikamis also has the largest skiing facility in Turkey. So when you complete the piste of 7km surrounded by Scotch pine forests, you will have completed the longest piste of Turkey. There are 2 laps with 5 pistes with suitable difficulty levels for all skiers.
